Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has held a welcoming ceremony for
the leaders attending the G20 summit in Antalya on the Mediterranean
coast.
Chinese President Xi Jinping is joining other world leaders in
seeking ways to find new impetus for global economic development. The
two-day summit will also focus on security issues and the Syrian
conflict after the terrorist attacks in Paris. The summit will also
consider the refugee crisis, climate change and tax avoidance.
The gathering offers the first possibility of a meeting between U.S.
President Barack Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin since Russia
launched its air campaign in Syria.
