Many of China's largest mining companies are implementing a new strategy
in Africa where they no longer want to buy assets outright but rather
make strategic investments and partnerships. This is a dramatic shift
and further undermines the assertion made by China's critics that
Beijing is engaging in a "neo-colonial" agenda in Africa.
